Adult Acne Medication Review - A Review Of The Best Adult Acne Scar Medications

This article will give an honest review of the best adult acne scar medications. Acne affects millions of people around the world and is an incredibly common skin condition that can be triggered by numerous factors which include the use of certain acne scar medications, birth control pills as well as androgen secretion.

More than 90 percent of the population are affected by acne at some point in their lives, particularly their teenage and early years. However, many of these acne sufferers do respond to certain types of adult acne scar medications without too many side effects of complications.

Adult acne scar medications are a popular choice for acne sufferers, regardless of the fact that acne scar medications may need to be used for many months or even years to achieve maximum results.

There is a large range of adult acne scar medications on the market and they are readily available. Some of these adult acne scar medications include herbal acne scar medications and remedies, homeopathic acne scar medications and remedies and the more traditional medications that include chemicals.

As far as herbal adult acne medications and remedies, it is actually quite remarkable that there are potent herbal medications which can effectively help fight acne. Some powerful herbal adult acne medications frequently include the ingredients burdock, chamomile, juniper, bergamot and dandelion root. These herbal adult acne scar medications are a powerful treatment for acne as a result of their ability to greatly enhance the appearance of the skin. Additionally, poker root and echinacea are also considered to be very effective herbal adult acne medications and remedies as a result of their anti-inflammatory properties.

As well as these herbal adult acne scar medications and remedies there are also homeopathic forms of medications that specifically target severe forms of acne. Kali brom is a homeopathic adult acne medication that is frequently used to treat acne sufferers who have blind boils and pustules all over the face, back and neck.

Dermatologists also recommend taking selenium internally as it is also an effective homeopathic remedy for both oily skin, blackheads and whiteheasd. Hepar sulph is also used to treat acne sufferers that usually have painful pustules filled with pus.

Apart from these homeopathic and natural adult acne scar medications there are also more traditional medications containing strong chemicals to help combat acne. These include over the counter medications and adult acne scar medications that require a script. However, some of these are said to have extremely unpleasant side effects. One traditional form of adult acne scar medication is benzoyl peroxide.

This adult acne scar treatment removes dead skin cells and resurfaces the skin. It is also said to prevent new acne blemishes occurring. Unfortunately though, this form of adult acne scar medication can cause excessive skin irritations, dryness and redness which, in turn, can actually make the acne condition worse. Bearing that fact in mind, many dermatologist now recommend that you don't take these traditional forms of adult acne scar medications unless absolutely essential.

Cure Acne Review

Searching online for an acne cure can be something of a minefield. We tend to be bombarded with so many different treatment programs it can begin to make our heads spin. In order to try and help simplify the process I have decided to write this cure acne review on what I believe are the best acne remedies currently available on the market. I have researched the credentials of their creators, examined the systems themselves and taken the time, via acne forums and blogs, to try and get as much feedback as possible from those who have used the programs.

No cure acne review can be written without mentioning Acne No More. It is the No.1 online acne cure program and certainly the most talked about. Creator Mike Walden has worked in the health industry as a nutritionist and medical researcher for over 14 years. Such was his success in fighting his own personal battle against acne that he decided to release the Acne No More system. He describes it as an "Acne Bible" and believes it is the most comprehensive guide to acne freedom you will ever read.

So, does it work? Having examined the program I have to say it is indeed a very detailed and precise guide. It is not just an acne relief program but a total holistic cure system, this means it looks to not only eliminate the symptoms of acne but also remove the underlying causes. The theory being that rather than achieving short term success, sufferers can look forward to a long term permanent cure.

It is difficult to find anyone who has anything negative to say about Acne No More, of course there are as you would expect plenty of glowing testimonials on the Acne No More website. Looking around the various acne forums and blogs it would also appear most only have good things to say about the program. Apart from a few dissenting voices, it seems the vast majority of acne sufferers are very satisfied with the results they have achieved through using the Acne No More system.

Another program that focuses on a natural, holistic approach to curing acne is the 14 Days Acne Cure system. As the title suggests it involves a 14 day diet plan to help your body detox and remove acne causing toxins as well as a skin cleansing program. This is all achieved without the need for harsh chemicals or drugs and so eliminates the possibility of any side effects.

Although I feel it is not as comprehensive as the Acne No More program it has still proved to be a popular system. The ideas and concepts presented are sound and should work for most acne sufferers. Having said that some users have reported that expecting to be acne free after 14 days may be a little overhyped, all our bodies are different and some will take longer than others to achieve the desired results.

Acne Free in 3 Days has certainly created something of a buzz amongst those looking to cure their acne. The main question being of course is it possible to cure acne in 3 days? That has not proved to be an easy question to answer. Whilst researching this review I have found mixed responses from users of the program. Some claim it is a miracle cure, others have reported seeing an improvement in their condition while there are those who suggest it has no effect and isn't worth the investment.

The system is based on the idea that acne is caused by an unhealthy colon and a form of yeast known as candida albicans. Although this yeast occurs naturally the system suggests that an excess of candida albicans in the body are a common cause of acne. Again this system works on the theory of detoxification and also a certain amount of fasting (which I believe makes it unsuitable for younger acne sufferers), the idea being that over a period of 3 days you will allow the body to rid itself of acne causing toxins. In conclusion I would have to say Acne Free in 3 Days won't work for everybody, if you follow the program I do believe you will see positive results, just not in the timescale stated.

So there we have it, these are by far the most popular acne cure systems available online today. You will probably have noticed whilst reading this cure acne review that they all follow a natural, holistic approach to curing acne. The holistic approach is now considered one of the most progressive ways of tackling the acne condition.

Philosophy Acne Treatment Review

I love Philosophy products.  I use their bath scrubs, lotions, all that good stuff.  They aren’t too thick, and they smell good, and that’s about the extent of what I need.  So I thought I’d try their face wash.  It’s called Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple face cleanser.  They claim that it will wash away impurities, make up, zits, the works.  I also tried their multi tasker.  So I was expecting great things I guess.  I gotta tell you, they did a much better job of making lotions and all that than washes and acne fighters.  I guess it’s a more complicated world.

I mean how hard is it to find moisturizers and find something that smells good right?  Apparently, it’s a lot harder to actually find things that reduce acne, supplement the skin without clogging pores, etc.  I used this stuff, and my skin was always dry, I had greater acne breakouts, it was actually worse than using bar soap, which is realistically pretty bad.  But what do you do right?  You just have to move on and not waste your time again.  Luckily, I didn’t waste too much money doing it.  It’s just a matter of looking for the right kind of experience.
